Defibrillator

There are two defibrillators in Mjøsparken. One is attached to the north facing wall of the restaurant building of Bolstad ved Mjøsa, while the other one can be found attached to the north facing wall of the public restroom next to the basketball court and the beach.

The defibrillators are easy to use and can be handled by anyone. They are placed in a cabinet on the wall.

In an emergency, the first thing you need to do is call 113. Next you open the cabinet by twisting the lid. You then press the “Start”-button. A voice tells you what to do, speaking both Norwegian and English. The defibrillator is intelligent, and will only start if there is an actual need for it to start.

The defibrillators can be used on both adults and children. By pressing a button, you can change between adult and children’s mode.
